These links are provided without prejudice. My views are my own and I have no ulterior motive, other than to provide easy access, to many different articles, which may show a different view than what is sometimes portrayed. YOU will ultimately decide what YOUR own opinion is. I would like to also state, that these links are included, merely to allow people to see what is being said in the media. I didn't write these article, I'm merely providing them for perusal. I am going into this, knowing full well that my online haters will say it's racist for me to have this page. Obviously, that would be completely ridiculous, but it's unfortunately, what I've been up against since MLA Mary Polak incited hate against me with her comments. Today in fact, I was told by a native man online, that I should be deported to Europe. I did point out to him that I was in fact born in Canada, but that didn't matter to him. I'm not sure which country in Europe he thought I should be deported to, he didn't elaborate :) UPDATE: Well, it took longer than expected. I put this page up in Sept 2014 and it took until Jan 29th, 2015 for this web site to be referred to as "white supremacist garbage." Okay, again, for the record..I DID NOT WRITE THESE NEWS ARTICLES! DUH!!! If what is posted here is "white supremest" then I guess the journalists, or the media in general, who knows..is "white" or "supremest" or "white supremest"??? Here is a couple screen-shots from a hate monger, over in a domestic terrorist group on Facebook. Click here
NOTE: Did you know that I received death threats after Ms. Polak held her press conference? They were so extreme and vicious it was quite shocking. Even though it was reported in the media and CHBC did a story on it, I never went into great detail about it. I chose to ignore the threats and just block the people doing it. I even had to hire a bodyguard to accompany me to public events. Just to be clear, I didn't disparage anyone in the comments I made online 5 years ago. Equally, If my comments were deemed racist and hateful in nature, as Ms. Polak indicated, the forum in which they were posted, would certainly have removed them, but they did not. They were there for all to read, for all to comment on, but not one person disagreed with what I said, or called it racist. The liberals didn't even find it so offensive and "out" me right away when they found it. No, they waited to use it as part of their campaign. I hold Mary Polak and the entire liberal party (and quite possibly the liberal government if taxpayer money was used) responsible for the death threats against not only me, but my children! I said nothing that should call for me to be murdered, be-headed, gang raped, my children to be murdered, my whole family murdered, my home burned down or my pet's killed..but those are the threats I received
FYI, here's an article about me and the "press conference"..this journalist gets it..how did so many others not?

Here is an article about the residential schools. I welcome this persons story, because it shows that not all of what took place in those schools was bad. I am in no way trying to take away from what clearly was wrong, but rather, showing that it wasn't every native child's reality. Here's a quote from the article
"Because if, say, 150,000 people attended a residential school, not every single one of them was sexually or physically abused. To try to claim that would be outlandish and no one would buy it. Instead, let the commission hear from those for whom the residential school experience might have been a godsend, or at the least, a steppingstone to a more empowered future.
Because those kinds of stories happened too. They happened to my mother and others like her. To be brave and go against the flow and tell Canada that for some native people, the residential school experience was not exclusively a horror show is to tell Canada that we have grown as nations of people, that we recognize that truth means a whole vision and not just a selective memory."

How do we help the grassroots native who needs help? How do we ensure their voice is heard? Here's a quote from the article that hits the nail right smack on the head “Fear, retaliation are the very reasons why no one will stand up today,” Iahtail said. “For people who actually stand up there is grave retaliation",
Here is the RCMP Missing and murdered native women report, which may sound different from what you've heard. As a non-native, I am approximately 84% more likely to be murdered and nearly 90% more likely to go missing.
For comparison, here is another link on province by province missing people.
Here are more links to interesting articles and reports, that came out mostly this past year.
I will be adding more content as it becomes available. This will always be a work in progress :)
